\n \nPosition: Sr. Business Analyst (M365)
\nLocation: Washington, DC (Local Only)
\n \nPosition Requirements:
\nLead and manage both operational and project-based work for the M365 team using Kanban methodology. This role combines Scrum Master facilitation with hands-on project management to ensure efficient delivery of services and initiatives across Microsoft 365 platforms and related enterprise tools.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\nScrum Master/Agile Facilitation
\nFacilitate daily stand-up meetings and ensure team alignment on priorities
\nManage Kanban board, ensuring workflow optimization and WIP (Work in Progress) limits
\nRemove impediments and blockers to team productivity
\nCoach team members on Agile/Kanban best practices
\nFacilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives
\n \nProject Management
\nPlan, execute, and deliver M365-related projects on time and within scope
\nDevelop project schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies
\nCoordinate with stakeholders across IT and business units
\nProvide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders
\nEnsure proper documentation and knowledge transfer
\n \nOperational Management
\nOversee day-to-day operational work for M365 services
\nPrioritize and triage incoming requests and incidents
\nManage service level agreements (SLAs) and operational metrics
\nCoordinate maintenance windows and change management activities
\nSupport capacity planning and resource allocation
\n \nRequired Qualifications
\nExperience
\n5-7 years of experience in IT project management or Scrum Master roles
\nProven track record managing both operational and project work simultaneously
\nExperience facilitating Agile ceremonies in a Kanban environment
\nTechnical Knowledge
\n \nCore Technologies:
\nMicrosoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot)
\nEmail Security & Flow Management (e.g., Proofpoint)
\nCertifications
\nPreferred:
\nPMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification
\nITIL Foundation v4
\n \nSkills:
\nStrong understanding of Kanban methodology and metrics
\nExcellent facilitation and servant leadership abilities
\nExperience with project management tools (GitLab, Jira)
\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills
\nAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
\nRisk management and problem-solving capabilities
\nPreferred Qualifications
\nFamiliarity with PowerShell scripting for M365 automation
\nExperience with Microsoft Graph API
\nPrevious experience in hybrid cloud environments
